With recognition and overall awareness of dementia increasing, our Oxford dementia bedroom furniture collection provides the ultimate solution for residents living with the condition. Alongside our usual high standard of build quality, utilising quality metal fixings with glued, screwed and dowelled joints, and solid backs to all units, the Oxford collection features large scoop detail drawer and door handles so residents can see inside. This helps to avoid anxiety, as does the open hanging section featured in the wardrobes. A bedside table is provided with a locking cupboard door as standard for the safe storage of medication, while the clever memory box provides a safe space to store personal effects where they are visible but unlikely to become lost or damaged.
Drawer chests, the bedside table and dressing table are completed with a rear upright to prevent items from being lost behind, while the rear of all units can be cut to allow for skirting boards so that they fit flush against walls.
The optional white contrasting door and drawer fronts help to show the item shape and distinguish the openings as eyesight deteriorates.
